Mini-hallway to guest bedroom and bathroom
Look at the stove. We do cook! I use the word "cook" loosely.
These glass bookends belonged to my great grandmother. Her name was Dorothy but the family called her Dodo. It's one of those things that you don't realize is a bit strange until later.
The Kewpie hangs in the middle of the hallway. This one in particular is a photo of a Kewpie vase that Mitzi's mom got when Mitzi was born.

No, Bobby is not from WI but you are right about the Bodeans. It's just a coincidence. He became a Packers fan when he was a kid because he liked their colors.

I've been wondering - what material is the floor made from? It almost looks like the textured/painted concrete that I've seen a lot lately, but I can't quite tell.
Hey Kelly! The floors are stained concrete. They are so nice for this Texas heat. My mom did half of her basement this way too.
