Thank You!

I am blessed by having some wonderful friends. I had told Lorena that I was craving feijoada (Brazilian black bean stew) now that the Austin weather has turned cold (for a few days) so she invited me to go to dinner last night at one of my favorite restaurants, Sao Paulo's. After what I later realized was her stalling by stopping in at a convenience store, we got to the restaurant and there I found a surprise birthday party for me. A couple of friends weren't able to make it but I had a great dinner with Lorena, Cody, Madelyn, Don, Jarrett, and Jonathan. The restaurant was so nice and even brought me a slice of chocolate flan with a candle in it. After dinner we went to the Roberts Estate and watched some Mystery Science Theater 3000 shorts thanks to Jonathan. It was a great surprise on a Tuesday night! I feel so lucky to have such thoughtful and fun friends!
