Documentary Extravaganza

Due to me bailing out of plans and friends bailing out of plans with me, I ended up watching several documentaries this weekend...most of them were short so don't get the impression that I was in front of the T.V. for hours on end!

What I watched:

"Love Me, Love My Doll" I think this is the title, I'll have to double check. A short documentary on BBC America about men who have relationships with real dolls like in the wonderful film, "Lars and the Real Girl."

"Me and My Big Breasts" Again, need to double check the title. Another short documentary on BBC America on Demand. It follows the story of three women and their struggle with having larger than average breasts.

"For the Love of Dolly" I loved this one. It was about crazy super-fans of Dolly Parton. Two of the fans are a gay couple in Dallas who make Dolly porcelain dolls. They met Dolly and she did not seem creeped out by this at all. Bless her heart! P.S. fitting that I watched this after "Me and My Big Breasts."

"100% Woman" This was about a woman who was born a man but is now legally a woman and races in women's downhill mountain biking.

"American Teen" Actually got out of the house and watched it in the theater. It did a good job of stirring up my emotions and wanting to punch one of the girls in the mouth.

iamcootis...I have no idea if these are on DVD, but I'd imagine so. Except for American Teen which is still playing at the Arbor, I watched these all on either BBC America on Demand or Logo on Demand.
