Medleys. Medleys seriously get on my nerves. They are such a tease. You start getting into a song and then like a rug pulled out from under you, a new song starts! The worst medley though, is when pretty much every song within the medley is annoying.
This weekend at my cousin's wedding I was sitting around a table with my family and the DJ puts on the ultimate of annoying medleys by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers. Remember them? For some reason that damn medley of theirs with all the remixed 50's songs in it like "Rock Around the Clock" was really popular in like the late 80's or early 90's. It even annoyed me then. I get this crooked grin on my face and my brother totally gets it and starts laughing. My dad asked what was up and I told him that I'd be so mad if the DJ played that at my wedding because on my list of pet peeves is medleys.
