Did anyone else sing that song in Brownies? "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other's gold." Don't ask me how I remember that, but it's true. My friends rock-old and new. I wish some of you "old" friends lived closer, but I appreciate how close we are despite the distance. I have made some big efforts over the past few months to become a stronger person and to develop new relationships. It has taken me out of my comfort zone but I've learned so much more about myself and feel blessed to have met some great new friends. Just this weekend, despite STILL being sick, I went bowling and played Rock Band for the first time-I highly recommend it-such a fun game. I can't figure out the guitar but pretty much rocked on the drums and with singing.
