Johnny Tremain?

Why did we watch the same video every year in elementary school? I think it was about the American Revolution, but history was never my strong suit. The only thing I remember from this video was the story of Johnny Tremain, at least I'm pretty sure that was his name-I don't even know what he did except that be burned his hand really bad while doing something with metal maybe and made the unfortunate mistake of wrapping his entire hand in a bandage and his fingers ended up sticking all together. This video taught me nothing about the American Revolution, but it did teach me that if I ever burn my hand like that while metal smithing or whatever it's called, I'll wrap my fingers individually.
