Bobby and I had a wonderful trip to the Riviera Maya on the Caribbean in Mexico. We stayed at a beautiful resort between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Within five minutes of arriving in Cancun Bobby was mistaken for being Mexican and speaking Spanish. He doesn't understand a word but this continued to happen during the rest of our trip. It was pretty funny to watch Bobby tell them, "No, Japones!"
We couldn't have asked for a better beach and totally lucked out with the weather. There were a couple of downpours but overall it was sunny and hot. Our only regret was not making this at the very least a five day trip. Four days went by way too fast but I am grateful for such a lovely vacation no matter how short it was. If you want to see more photos feel free to check out my album on Snapfish.

Our first night at the resort before dinner. The walkways were gorgeous with so many trees, cenotes, and iguanas!
We spent our first morning at the Tulum Ruins. The view of the water there was amazing.
I would have been the perfect size to live in ancient Tulum.
The beach at our resort, Xphua Beach, was gorgeous with soft sand and clear water.
There were several beach dogs who would come and hang out with us. This one stole my cookies.
Our last day at the beach gave us much stronger waves so Bobby spent the day body surfing.
Our last night on the beach.
Our last night before dinner. We were both very sad to leave. Bobby started looking up flights the day after we got back to return.
