Project Runway Season Premiere 2009

I folded origami dresses for the cupcake toppers. The yummy cupcakes were from one of my favorite places, Hey Cupcake!

Toppers prior to meeting their cupcakes.

I folded other origami clothes to make a mini clothesline for decoration.

I had a few friends (for the first half of the night until Madelyn arrived I was the only girl in a room of men watching the show. This is probably not your typical Project Runway party.) over tonight for the season premiere of Project Runway. If you remember last year I made cookies decorated like dresses, scissors, and shoes. I didn't have much time this year so instead I purchased cupcakes from this cute cupcake bakery called Hey Cupcake! and made my own cupcake toppers. How many times can I write cupcake in a sentence? I folded origami dresses for the toppers and some other random pieces of clothing for the miniature clothesline that I hung up for decoration.

I'll have to watch the premiere again because we spent most of the time laughing and making fun of the designers but I had a great time!

Oh my gosh, you are so creative! I love the decor - awesome! And the toppers on the cupcakes are incredible! Definitely beats our PR "party" last night - it consisted of ordering sushi and vegging out on the couch. Glad you had a good time!

You're so stinkin' cute. I can't believe that the origami clothes, tiny hangers, tiny clothespins and clothesline were what you "threw together" because you didn't have time! Maybe with a lot of practice, I can be as creative as you one day!

Those turned out really cute!! I hope the replay the 1st episode because I didn’t make it home in time and forgot to ever change my DVR from Bravo to Lifetime. I wonder if DVR was smart enough to figure that out…probably not.
