Floating Fast Like a Hummingbird

Times like this I wish I was a more eloquent writer.
One of Bobby's old coworkers, an adorable and outgoing petite girl I had met on a few occasions, was murdered on the morning of New Year's Day.  Although I barely knew her, I liked this girl.  She was warm, fun, and cute.  I was enamored by her energy.  An Old 97's lyric describes her well, "You made a big impression for a girl your size."

It is a tragedy and I can't imagine what her sister, her parents, her close friends, and the kids she worked with must be going through.

It's quite amazing what an impact a practical stranger can make on you.  Since learning of the news there continues to be a little voice in my head telling me to live how I'd want to be remembered.
