Wah, feeling sorry for myself post.
So, for years I've had headaches and pain in my neck. One MRI of the brain with a few findings like a cyst, one normal CT scan of the sinuses, and some sessions of acupuncture never changed anything except I know I REQUIRE good sleep and it's best that I don't drink alcohol to prevent the really bad headaches.
For the past few months, my hands, wrists, forearms and elbows have also been hurting...bad. Like at times someone jabbing a screwdriver through your hand and up your arm bad. And no, it's not carpal tunnel. Tried that route. X-rays, nerve testing, occupational therapy, and an MRI of the neck over the past couple of months and still no relief of pain. No nerve compressions found but "lots" of arthritis in my neck has been found. (As well as for sure in my right elbow, left arm has not been x-rayed yet). I'm 35!!!! And I'm trying my best to be patient. But y'all, I feel for arthritis sufferers now. It hurts and it makes getting anything done (oh for example making and addressing wedding invitations, working at a computer, driving, brushing my hair, and on and on poor me) a bigger and more painful chore than it should be.
Next step is more blood work, lupus has already been ruled out so not exactly sure what this round of blood work is for and then apparently I return to my orthopedic surgeon. In the meantime I'm drinking my Emergen-C Joint Health, I'm doing my stretches, watching my posture, staying active, and I bought Aspricream last night. Friday night buying Aspricream.
My 70 year old employee who has worked for me the past ten years and I have a lot more to chat and complain about now.
Hmm, what's next? Orthopedic shoes? Support stockings? Gotta run, gotta go to the beauty shop to get my perm.
