Me and Lorena
Last night was the monthly Yelp Elite party. I was pretty excited about this one. We were all given disposable cameras a couple of weeks ago and were told to take photos of "My Austin." We turned in the cameras and then went to Austin Art Garage for the party where some of our photos were displayed in the gallery. Lorena and I each had five of our photos displayed! It was fun to see how photos from a disposable camera turned out after getting so used to the instant gratification of digital photos. It was a very fun and cool experience. I haven't had a photo displayed in a gallery since high school at the Columbia Art League! My photos that were displayed last night were from Polvo's and Lady Bird Lake from Kate and Joe's visit. I'll post them once they are put online.

p.s. now I am sitting here hungry at work even though it is only 11, b/c all I can think of is Polvo's. thanks.
