You know you love Pyrex when...

I took my friend Brandon to one of my favorite vintage stores, Prototype, off of South Congress. Earlier in the year I bought some dark green suede Italian boots there. They have a variety of clothing, shoes, furniture, and housewares. I like that it's organized and set up based on colors. I noticed Brandon stopped in front of the shelves of the black and white housewares. I saw what he was looking at and we gave each other a knowing look. I whispered, "It's barbed wire." He responded with, "I know," and we proceeded to high five each other.

It was a vintage Pyrex casserole dish with lid. White with a black pattern called "Barbed Wire" because that's what it resembles. It was priced at $26.99. I passed on it because it wasn't exactly a "lucky find" like my "Butterprint" piece for $2.99 at Goodwill, but it was nice admiring it in person.
