I was late finding out that David Sedaris has a new book out. I bought it Friday night and am almost finished...well, it does have illustrations (by Ian Falconer, author and illustrator of "Olivia"). I wasn't too crazy about the first two stories but it did get better. I'm still not sure how I feel about it as it's a book of fables but the fact I've been reading it all weekend is a good sign.
P.S. Reading more was one of my New Year's resolutions. I've done a pretty good job sticking with it. In the last month I read "It Sucked and then I Cried," "Mortified," and now this one. Granted, they are all easy reads, but I'm reading for pleasure, people!
