If you haven't heard, this is the Pixies Doolittle tour, meaning they play the Doolittle album in its entirety. I love this concept. Rocket from the Crypt did this when I saw them years ago and that's still one of my favorite shows ever. There was a time in my life when I listened to Doolittle over and over again...especially one summer when I worked in a microfilm lab with a bunch of senior citizens. They always had a radio turned on and alternated between country and oldies stations. Thank God for the portable CD player at that time. It was amazing getting to hear all of those songs that have so many memories attached to them played live tonight.
