Where you'll find me Saturday and Sunday mornings drinking coffee and reading a book or magazine. You can't see them well in this photo, but I was so excited to find the love bird salt and pepper shakers in the dollar bin at Target that I bought two sets, one for me and one for my mom. But I should disclose that they were actually $2.50 each, not $1.00.

Um, ignore the ugly soda box and open cabinet in this photo. Just when I thought I already lived in an apartment with the smallest kitchen in the world I move into a bigger apartment with an even smaller kitchen-one drawer and cabinet smaller. That makes quite a difference in a teeny tiny space, hence purchase of future sideboard/credenza/or whatever you call it. A bigger kitchen is one thing that really makes me want a house. (A smaller kitchen is what finally helped me convince Bobby to part with the Foreman Grill.)

Looks GREAT! I'm so impressed that you already have pictures/wall art hanging up. We STILL have artwork we need to hang, and we've lived in our house for 5 YEARS now! Yikes!
p.s. I would have had difficulty parting with the George Foreman - I still use mine, and I love it :)
I love it. This is really looking nice...
DUUUUUUUDE! Why would you part with the Foreman?! That was not a wise move, my friend.
The decor looks faboo, though. Hope to see it in person someday. : )
Thanks, girls.
I know, I know, everyone's a fan of the Foreman. We just NEVER used it and some critical editing down of stuff had to be made. So far, no regrets. If it was a sandwich maker I think it would have been a different story. I used the crap out of my friend Liz's when we were roommates in college.
you know, you can totally make sandwiches in it, too. panini stylie.

At least your kitchen looks nice! Mine is tiny and has all these awful mis-matched cabinets and torn up walls...yuck!
By the way, I have used my George Foreman to make grilled cheese on more than one occasion...not the perfect device, but it works!
