Entering the Cathedral of Junk. If you haven't checked it out yet, go!

There are stairs all the way to the top!

The back of The Cathedral of Junk...lots of junk!

This was the craziest thing I had ever seen, a small child size exercise bike. This is now Bobby's Facebook profile picture. How could it not be?

Part of the "ceiling" in the Cathedral of Junk

Plenty of Texas images found amongst the junk

Ever wonder what you should do with all those small trinkets you have lying around...

This weekend was wonderful. I felt like I was on vacation and for the first time it didn't fly by. Friday night Bobby and I went to a 30th birthday party BBQ with some amazing food and then later we went to this gorgeous theater in the hills called One World Theater for a jazz show. Ask me to tell you about that experience sometime. Let's just say that if there was a casting for The Real Housewives of Austin, TX then I found a few good candidates. Saturday we visited The Cathedral of Junk, something I've wanted to check out for quite some time now. It's basically this three-story structure that this guy built in his backyard all out of junk. It's really something! After that we went to a 50th birthday party where they roasted a whole pig! Saturday and Sunday included lots of outdoor and pool time which is necessary with all of these 100 degree days we've been having.
