I love three-day weekends! They mean four-day work weeks! I had a great weekend but wish I would have taken pictures to prove it!
Friday night some fabulous ladies and I got together for dinner and drinks. Lady nights are so important! There are conversations that are better suited when there are no males around. For example, prepping the bikini area for summer. Later I tried watching Ghostbusters with Bobby because apparently it's a pretty big deal that I've never watched this movie in its entirety. I fell asleep about 15 minutes into it. Oops.
Saturday night Cody and Madelyn had a Rock Band party. It was fun as usual.
Sunday Bobby had a BBQ, I'm sorry, I mean Bob-b-q. I got to meet some nice new people and snack pretty much all day long.
Monday I read by the pool and then went to a party at a wine bar. We got free appetizers and I tried gator for the first time. I think a few glasses of wine gave me the courage to try it...that and plus it was fried. Pretty much everything is good fried.
Today I'm sunburned and back at work grateful that it's already Tuesday!

Probably have told you this before, but did you know that Joe's personalized license plate in h.s. was "VENKMAN"?
He used to watch like 10 minutes of Ghostbusters a day every day while getting ready to go to school.
For his 30th, I gave him a little model car of the Ghostbusters car.
For his 34th, I gave him a copy of the DVD, which we watched together.
Even he admits that it's a movie that was perhaps more "great" because of the age in his life when he first saw it. But there are some good lines in there.

I don't think I ever knew that. Hilarious! You have to really be passionate about something to get it on a personalized license plate. I can't wait to talk to Joe about this. Is he excited about the third one coming out?
